Millan, Paris, New York .. There are lots of cities of art in the world.

And there is an another city of art in South Korea. (it is Seoul of course ^_^)

For two months, I have looked in every nook and corner in Seoul to find these artistic spaces.

Then let me show these pics~

This is the ceiling of Fractal Turtleship, you know- NamJune Paik’s work.

This small gallery is in the northern village in Seoul.

Looks very neat and simple right?

There are lots of small galleries like that in everywhere in Seoul even in the subway station or bus.

↑Also, It is safe to say that Seoul Squre is major art square in the world.

↑This is a kind of bell, its exact name is Bosingak (보신각종.)

Koreans celebrate New Year’s Day by ringing the bell.

And the sound of the bell is very clear and fluty.

These are in Shinsegae(신세계) department store in CentralCity (near at the express bus terminal(고속 버스 터미날) station.)

Kindergarteners draw that watercolors.

They are all very considering environment and the earth!

Good boys and girls!

CHRISTMAS!

The world-famous holiday is near at hand!

And Seoul is in a festive mood, too!

The whole city is filled with romantic atmosphere!

These are nightime view of 청계천광장(Cheonggyecheon Square)!

But this beautiful squre had been buried under layers of concrete for nearly 50 years , and it was reopened to the public after multimillion-dollar facelift (to tear down a two-tier highway above it)

Now it is one of the most appealing and environment-friendly squares in the world!

Wish you visit this place someday!

Happy holidays and enjoy your lovely time in Seoul, South Korea^_^!

The KBS spy action drama “Iris” team films explosion and gun-fighting scenes yesterday on the roads in front of the Sejong Center for Performing Arts in central Seoul. The roads, near which the Central Government Complex and the U.S. Embassy are located, were blocked for 12 hours from 7 a.m. during the shooting of the TV drama. [YONHAP]

Actually, I did go that square, the location of the drama(Iris) last month!

So this time I’ll show you what the 광화문광장(Gwanghwamun Square
) is!

This is me with expressionless face 🙂 I think i just so tired and blanked that day..

but the water of the fountain behind me was so beautiful!

It is said that It is brilliantly illuminated at night~

The statue in this pic is King Sejong!

King Sejong created Hangeul (한글-The Korean alphabet) and he is one of the best heroes of Korea!

It is said that 한글 was designated as National Treasure in UNESCO’s Memory of the world. I’m so proud of that ~

Are you able to guess what the green-something is?

Shreck?

No

Its name is hATCHI ! Hatchi is the symbolic character of Seoul!

Actually hatchi is much prettier than that -_- …!

CUTE and HOT character Right? 🙂
